My Story

Since receiving the GROW Mammography Scholarship, so much has changed in the best way possible. I’m proud to share that I am now working in the Breast Imaging Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Medical Center—and I’ve been there for over six months now!

I recently passed my mammography registry exam in May with a 94, and I’m officially registered in mammography. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I’m already training in stereotactic biopsies, gaining new skills and expanding my knowledge every day.

I’m incredibly grateful for the GROW Scholarship—it helped launch me into a career I truly love. The support made it possible for me to grow, learn, and begin making a difference in the lives of patients.
